Dr. Ghassan Abboud is the founder and president of 1st Family Dental and 1FD Implant Centers. He opened the first office on the north side of Chicago, IL in 1996 and has grown the company to more than a dozen locations.
Dr. Joseph Akhikar
Senior Clinical Director – Dentist
Dr. Joseph Akhikar graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine with High Honors. Dr. Akhikar completed his post graduate study and residency program in advanced education in general dentistry earning the Best Clinical Performance Award.
Dr. Irbad Chowdhury
Implantologist
Dr. Chowdhury received his dental degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where he continued and completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and Implant Fellowship.

Dr. Ashtewi is a graduate of University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit Michigan where he has earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
Dr. Michael Aust

Dr. Aust earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI, in 2006. Prior to that, he received his Baccalaureate in General Science, Pre-Dentistry from Portland State University in Portland, OR, and completed the Early Scholars Program at Marylhurst University in Marylhurst, OR.

Dr. Raoof’s extensive training in restorative dentistry at UPenn and his continue work at Harvard in surgical procedures such as dental implants, sinus augmentations, connective tissue surgery and guided tissue/bone regeneration, has granted him the ability to treat patients completely and comprehensively.
