What Are the Benefits of Dental Implants from 1st Family Dental Implant Centers?

Patients missing one, multiple, or even a mouthful of teeth can benefit from dental implants from 1st Family Dental Implant Centers in Chicago and the Chicago suburbs.

Dental implants look and function like your existing teeth and are constructed to last a lifetime with proper oral hygiene, care, and regular dental exams and cleanings. This permanent solution can provide our valued patients with new teeth in one day at a cost-effective price.

Are There Different Dental Implant Options Available?

1st Family Dental Implant Centers believe in providing a first-class experience that meets each patient’s specific needs and desires.

We refuse to engage in a “one size fits all” approach regarding your oral healthcare needs, including tooth implants.

We provide options designed just for you, including the right number of implants or an implant system.

For example, zygomatic dental implants are a specialized implant solution that allows patients with bone loss to receive dental implants for which they otherwise may not be a candidate.

More custom options include Implant in a Day which gives patients new teeth in one day, All On X denture implants which support a new set of porcelain teeth, and Overdentures, which is a modified full or partial denture.

Therefore, dental implants can secure single-tooth crowns, larger bridges, and dentures. The implant functions as the new tooth’s root, providing a steady base on which to attach these options. In many cases, we can offer new teeth in one day.

No matter what your needs are, 1st Family Dental Implant Centers will craft a personalized dental solution to help restore your oral health and resume daily functions like eating, chewing, and speaking.

What is the Implant Placement Process?

The implant placement process involves three steps:

Implant Placement

Healing and Osseointegration

Implant Placement

Implant Placement

First, the implant will carefully be inserted into either the lower or upper jaw. A temporary or “healing cap” is then placed over the implant to shield it. In specific cases, bone grafting may be needed before the implant is placed or afterward.

Healing and Osseointegration

Next is healing and osseointegration, which allows the implant to fuse with the jawbone. During this stage, the bone in the jaw begins to grow and surround the implant, supporting it and holding it in place. This fusion is referred to as osseointegration, in which the implant and bone merge. This is one reason dental implants are one of the most effective ways to replace missing teeth and have increased strength and durability with a decreased risk of bone loss.

Implant Placement

Finally the third step is tooth replacement, where 1FD Implant Center creates a custom crown, bridge, or denture designed explicitly for you. Dentures and bridges secured to implants offer the patient a new level of stability and renew their self-confidence and smile.
