Dr. Aust earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, WI, in 2006. Prior to that, he received his Baccalaureate in General Science, Pre-Dentistry from Portland State University in Portland, OR, and completed the Early Scholars Program at Marylhurst University in Marylhurst, OR. He has done a Master of Oral Implantology from the California Implant Institute and the UNLV School of Dental Medicine. His fellowship in implants was finished from April 2016 to July 2017.
Dr. Michael is also a respected leader in the dental community. He has held various leadership roles in the dental field, including past Chairman for eight years of the Continuing Education Committee for a state chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry. He has been a member of the Continuing Education Advisory Committee for Oakstone Publishing and has been Faculty for A.T. Stills School of Dental Medicine. He has also been involved in peer review and curriculum development for one of the top 10 largest hospital systems in the United States.
