Born in Benton, Illinois in 1956 Carl Edward Henley D.D.S., F.A.G.D. was
raised in Downers Grove. He attended Southern Illinois University and
graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1983.
Dr. Henley began showing an interest for dentistry at a young age when
bicycle accident made it necessary for him to spend countless hours in
multiple dental offices for dental treatments.
Dr. Henley has always been interested in continuing education and considers
it to be a part of his responsibility to his patients. He received Fellowship in
the Academy of General Dentistry. (Fellowship is the highest level of achievement
recognized by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and where only 7% of
dentists receive this prestigious recognition). Moreover, he attended numerous
MAXI courses in implant dentistry training with renowned pioneers in the
field. (Maxi courses are over 400 hours each of training in implants, bone grafting, and
advanced restorative techniques).
Dr. Carl Edward Henley, continues to be an active member of numerous,
professional organizations which allow him to stay up to date with the latest
techniques and technology to provide the best dental service possible.
The love and passion which he possesses for art and science of dentistry
allows him to improve patients lives. He is committed to excellence in
dental care, listening and treating patients as guests.
Today, Dr. Carl Edward Henley lives in Bristol, IL with his wife, teenage son
and his 20 year old Bengal Cat.
He enjoys golf and flying. (He has had a private pilot license since 1994) Also, he
is an avid Bears Fan.
